This summer, I am embarking on a technology journey and learning how to develop a webpage in the class LIS 753!
Why I am taking this class
To develop coding skills to utilize in a library setting
To grasp a better sense of what goes into web development
To rise up to the challenge of making a webpage as someone who is not super tech savvy
My Work
I am a grad student at Dominican University studying both Library Science and Youth Literature. My goal is to become a teen services librarian
I am currently a Lead Bookseller at Barnes and Noble, where I spend my days discussing new releases and monthly picks selected by the company. I also help customers find the items they are looking for and help my fellow booksellers exceed at their job. Being a bookseller is a lot of hard work but I love the job.
I graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelors in creative writing.
I am married and have one dog and one cat.
I am originally from Metro Detroit, and spend time in Northern Michigan in the summer
